When and where can I enter the Museum using my 24-Hour Viewing ticket?

You may arrive at MoMA for The Clock 24-Hour Viewing at any time between Saturday, December 21, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 22, at 5:30 p.m. For entry use the member entrance of the Rockefeller Building on 54th Street.

Does my 24-Hour Viewing ticket guarantee immediate access to The Clock?

No. Due to limited capacity, immediate entry to The Clock is not guaranteed.

Do MoMA members receive priority access for the 24-Hour Viewing?

Yes, MoMA members receive priority access. Upon arrival and entry to the Museum, ticket holders will enter a virtual queue by scanning an onsite QR code.

Can MoMA members bring a guest?

MoMA members are allowed to reserve one free ticket per cardholder. Space is limited and advance registration is required. All other guests are required to purchase general admission tickets.

Can I leave the exhibition and return to the same seat?

Visitors may stay inside the exhibition as long as they like during open hours, but must rejoin the queue if they exit for any reason.

Can I reserve seats for other attendees?

Due to limited capacity, visitors may not reserve seats for other visitors.

Is food and beverage allowed in The Clock?

No, food and drink are not allowed inside the exhibition.

Will the coat checkroom be available?

Yes, the coat checkroom will be available.

What can I do while I wait?

From 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. visitors can enjoy games and puzzles in our Gund Lobby and exclusive viewing access to our second-floor collection galleries. From 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. our Museum Store will be open for holiday shopping and a pop-up bar will serve drinks and light snacks.

What additional galleries will be open during the 24-Hour Viewing?

The second-floor collection galleries will be open from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. with normal Museum hours and access resuming from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 22.

Will there be food and beverages available for purchase?

There will be light snacks and beverages available for purchase from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Regular café hours will resume on Sunday morning when the Museum opens to the public.

Can I take photos or record The Clock?

The use of cameras and recording devices, including mobile phones, is strictly prohibited in The Clock gallery.

Can I leave the Museum building and return later with the same 24-Hour Viewing ticket?

No. All exits from the building are final and no re-entry will be permitted.

Will walk-up tickets be available?

Tickets will only be available onsite during the event if capacity allows. The availability of walk-up tickets is not guaranteed.
